How are you all?? How is school or work or home? I pray everything is going well! Literally. :) Ha ha smileyface (love ya tay)
Well, the first week here has been crazy: crazy different, crazy busy, crazy awesome...but mostly crazy spiritual! It is amazing how strong the spirit is here, and how quickly you can learn because of it. I have watched myself, and others in my district grow so much in so little time!
Speaking of districts...there are 11 members in my district. 6 going to Denver North, and 5 going to Guam with me! Elder Traasdahl is the District Leader, and is the perfect man for the job. Such a great guy! I am trying to decide whether to call him elder incredible or elder parr...because he looks exactly like mister incredible! Truly he does. But he is a wonderful man and will make a fantastic missionary! Now as for companions, I am paired up with both Elder Peck and Elder Selander in a Tripanionship. Elder Peck--from Coosbay, Oregon, and Elder Selander from Shoto Montana. They are such stellar missionaries and such great examples to me! I have already learned so much from them
The MTC is really the best place! Anyone who hated their time there didnt fully understand the purpose. The purpose is to help you learn how to teach by the spirit. They do this through countless role playing situations to practice teaching lessons. It is the best way to learn! The other challenge is to teach, not tell. Anyone can tell what we believe, like the articles of faith. But it takes the spirit to truly teach!
The Church is true! I promise you that! But me telling you won't help you believe it. You have to find out for yourself! I challenge you all to do that, to pray and learn for yourself if it is true! Believe He will answer you, for He always does!
I love you all! Keep in touch, and let me know how you are doing!!
Love,
Elder Bryson Loren Ashcraft
PS, a special shout out to my boy Tan the Man! Happy birthday bro! Love you!
